Arlington passed after a brief illness on March 31. Loving husband of 69 years of Nance E., (Toner) Vossmer. Devoted father of Donald and wife Patty, Cheryl Vossmer, Debra and husband Bill Jasset, Brian and wife Patricia and Chris and wife Kimberly. Also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Arthur was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, and was a proud American who loved life. WWII Naval Air Corps Veteran, a Wire Lather in Local 72 and an employee of Minuteman Regional Technical High School. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 10:00am in St. Agnes Church. Interment to follow with military honors in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Passed away peacefully on March 29, 2017 with his family by his side at the age of 73. Born May 6, 1943 he leaves behind his wife, Shaila, two sons, Chethan and Vardhan, daughters in-law Ekta and Payal, and three lovely granddaughters, Nitya, Riya, and Maya. He was truly content having participated in the annual religious Sri Ranganathaswamy festival (aka Rathothsavam) on March 12, 2017 in Kalkunte Village, India. This has been a family tradition for the past 73 years. He was a dedicated and highly respected Civil Engineer. He founded Kalkunte Engineering Corporation (Stoughton, MA) in 1983 and served as President. He touched everyone’s heart with his kindness, humor, and spirituality.
